Unit 9 Receives Full Conditional FSA Approval Before Opening

We're delighted to share some exciting news as we continue preparing for the launch of our brand new butchery facility.


Our new Unit 9 has officially received Full Conditional Approval from the Food Standards Agency before we've even opened our doors.


For us, this isn't just another box ticked - it's one of the biggest milestones in the entire project.


A Fantastic Start


Before any food production could begin, the Food Standards Agency carried out a provisional inspection of our new premises to ensure everything had been designed, built and prepared to the highest required standards.


Following this visit, we're proud to say we've been granted Full Conditional Approval, allowing us to begin operating from the new facility as soon as we're ready.


Receiving this approval before opening gives us complete confidence that the foundations we've built are exactly where they need to be.

Chefs Cut already operates to exceptionally high standards, holding a 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating and full FSA approval for our current unit, and this new facility has been designed to build on that reputation.

Looking Ahead


As part of the Food Standards Agency's approval process, the business will receive a further inspection after opening to confirm full ongoing approval. This is standard procedure and something we look forward to welcoming.


Receiving conditional approval before production begins is an excellent indication that we've built the facility exactly as intended.


We're incredibly proud of what the team has achieved over the past few months, transforming an empty industrial unit into a modern, purpose-built food production facility.


The finish line is now firmly in sight.


We can't wait to start producing from Unit 9 and continue delivering the quality, consistency and service that Chefs Cut Butchery has become known for.
